As our children grow and change so do their interests and ‘favorite things’. Now with the introduction of Wallies you can change your child’s environment to match with no fuss and no damage to your walls and it’s SO affordable.
You may ask, why would a toy store specializing in outdoor and role play toys introduce a product like Wallies to our range? The answer is simple. NEED.
We recently made an expedition to all the stores we could think of, with a view to getting something like this to put on our children’s walls. Well, we found that there is simply a huge gap in the market for these products. Those stores that we assumed would sell them, such as you large hardware chains and craft stores did not stock anything, and those stores we did find them in, such as the smaller paint and decorating shops were so expensive that it simply wasn’t affordable. And so began the hunt for an outstanding product offering value for money.
Like everything we sell at the Playhouse, we have tested extensively and had the ‘Lily’ Stamp of approval applied (who better than a four year old) to the Wallie product.
Wallies are applied in the same manner as wall paper and having never wallpapered before we were apprehensive. Now after putting up many different themes, I can assure you there is nothing hard about applying Wallies. I was amazed at just how easy it was. It was just a matter of deciding where I wanted to place them, dip them in water, place on the wall and smooth out with a sponge. I kid you not – it’s that simple, even Lily had fun applying them! And to ensure the product did what it said, I also applied to furniture, again the same application – simple.
The last test – was it true to its word and would come off without damaging the paint on my walls or my furniture? YES – I simply wet the pictures and they pealed straight off.
