After much wringing of hands and wondering about what to do, a decision has been made.  To have a mid year sale or not, that is the question and the answer is:  NO.

Before everyone calls and emails crying out why, why Why, I need to point out that with our prices the way they currently are, we really have given ourselves nowhere to go but up - and we really don't want to do that.  With that said, a sale is out of the question.  The step2 range is just walking out the door and further orders are literally a week or so away so what can we do to compete, well, if we can reduce now, we can certainly do so later, so here is the way it will work.

For each sale now, leading up to August 31, we will offer a 10% discount coupon for the Christmas period, beginning 21 November 2008.  That's right, if you purchase now and take advantage of our opening specials on Step2 and other products, we will provide a discount coupon for purchases during the big one - Christmas.    In fact, we will go one better and offer a further 15% discount if you purchase between 1 Jan and 31 Jan 09 for the after Christmas sale period. That's a HUGE 25% discount of our already low prices.

So, there you have it.  A sale without a sale; where the discount is a reward for your purchase now.  Sort of like an early Christmas present.  This will of course apply across our entire range of quality products except where specifically noted otherwise. 

Also, keep an eye out for the next big thing in the playhouse.  We have almost nutted out the final details of, yes, you guessed it - holiday lay by.  Keep an eye on this space for details to follow in the coming months.
