Over the last couple of weeks we have been inundated with enquires regarding the AMPI Plastics play gym range. The main focus of these enquires has been to our recent depletion in stock.
We have been selling AMPI Plastic products for over 12 months now with great success. This is a range that can grow with your child, by adding more and more components, making it extremely popular amongst our buyers and one of our top selling brands.
AMPI Plastics is an Australian owned company specializing in blow moulded plastic products. To date all of the AMPI Plastic range has been manufactured here in Melbourne, Australia.
In an effort to keep pricing competitive for buyers, the company made the decision to move the manufacturing of their Play Gym Toy Range offshore to China. China is becoming known world wide for producing quality items at competitive prices. To ensure that the products maintain their high quality, representatives of AMPI Plastic will be overseeing the set up of the equipment in China. This range will continue to meet the Australian Toy Standards (AS/NZ 8124), and will be tested against EN71 if required.
What that means for us here, at Lily’s Playhouse is that until production begins in China (the aim is for April 2008) we will be unable to supply this range of outdoor toys once our current items are sold out. We hope to have our first shipments here in May 2008.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and look forward to re-launching the AMPI Plastic range with some great ‘back on the self’ Specials. Who knows perhaps we may even get some new colour choices
